Paramount and Skydance’s $ 60 million “Jack Reacher” film looks like it might get a sequel after all.
Having taken $ 80 million domestically, the film adaptation of Lee Child’s novel “One Shot” has performed better overseas with an additional $ 125 million on top of that.
Now both companies are said to already be figuring out the sequel which will likely aim to keep the budget around the level of the first.
With nineteen Reacher books already penned, and most being essentially stand alone works (or easily adaptable as such), the companies have plenty of pre-written sequels at their disposal.
