With any successful cult series comes speculation during the show’s run of a movie adaptation. Today that dubious honor has come around to AMC’s highly successful zombie drama series “The Walking Dead”.
Bloody Disgusting reports that sources involved in the show and at the network have confirmed “rumblings of a feature film” to essentially serve as a cap off to the series down the track. They do advise that “nothing is even close to official and don’t expect there to be any real talks for another few years”.
Many shows have talked about film continuations or conclusions, but only a handful have come true – for every “Sex and the City” and “The X-Files” that did happen, there’s ten “24” or “Lost” films that didn’t.
