Aaron Eckhart (“The Dark Knight”) is set to play the U.S. President in Antoine Fuqua’s “Olympus Has Fallen” for Millennium Films says Variety.
Creighton Rothenberger and Katrin Benedikt penned the script about a Secret Service agent (Gerard Butler) who becomes America’s only hope when the White House is overtaken by terrorists.
Shooting kicks off in September. The project is not to be confused with a rival project with a similar premise – Sony’s “White House Down”.
