Adele Sings For 145 Mins-Long “Skyfall”

She first gave cryptic hints last September suggesting that she’d got the gig. Now, one of the worst kept secrets in entertainment news has been confirmed – Adele will sing the theme song for the upcoming James Bond film “Skyfall” reports Showbiz 411.

The song is expected to go by the same name as the film and will mark Adele’s first new single since her album “21” became a global bestseller.

British tabloids are claiming she has already recorded the song as she was allegedly spotted visiting Abbey Road studios earlier this month where the soundtrack is being put together by composer Thomas Newman.

Meanwhile MI6 reports that cinemas are being advised that the film’s runtime will clock in at 145 minutes not including trailers of commercials.

That would put it on par with the just over 144-minute long “Casino Royale” which is the longest Bond film to date. In contrast 2008’s “Quantum of Solace” is the shortest at 106 minutes.
