“Piranha 3D” and “Mirrors” helmer Alexandre Aja is scheduled to direct an adaptation of Joe Hill’s 2010 novel “Horns” next Spring/Summer at Mandalay Pictures reports Heat Vision.
This second book from Hill, the son of Stephen King, follows a man a year after his girlfriend was mysteriously slain. A drunken night leads to him waking up to find horns growing from his temples and is convinced they’re linked to his girlfriend’s killer.
Scott Bunin penned the script adaptation. Aja is expected to shoot the film before moving onto his sci-fi manga adaptation “Cobra”.
