Metallica have set Nimród Antal (“Predators,” “Kontroll”) to direct their upcoming 3D feature film project reports Market Wire.
The project will combine narrative and concert elements starring the five members of the band and their fans. Shooting kicks off this August for a release in Summer next year.
Charlotte Huggins will produce. Antal says “we are going to harness the powerful and almighty energy of Metallica’s live shows, inject a narrative into it, and shoot it in 3D to elevate the entire experience.”
