Brandon T. Jackson (“Tropic Thunder,” “Big Momma’s House 3”) is apparently in final negotiations to play the son of Axel Foley in the new “Beverly Hills Cop” television series at CBS reports Humor Mill.
The series continuation of the popular film franchise revolves around blue-collar cop Aaron Foley who is trying to escape the shadow of his father (Eddie Murphy) who is now Chief Of Police in Detroit.
Jackson was the favorite to land the part and HM’s sources claim to have confirmed the casting news. Shawn Ryan and Murphy will executive produce the series.
