X-Men: Days of Future Past
While we’ve heard about numerous cast members coming back for “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” now comes word of one name who will NOT be – Alan Cumming.

Actor James McAvoy hinted in an interview that Cumming could return, but this has now been officially denied. [Source: Coming Soon]

Untitled ABSCAM Project
Alessandro Nivola is negotiating to join Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, Jeremy Renner, Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence in the David O Russell-directed drama about the ABSCAM scandal.

Nivola will play Reggio, the federal prosecutor who tried the case in court. The Eric Singer-scripted drama is about the ’70s FBI sting operation Abscam that took down a bunch of U.S. congressmen. [Source: Deadline]

Untitled Frank Coraci Project
No surprise, Drew Barrymore is now confirmed to be re-teaming with Adam Sandler on Frank Coraci’s still-untitled romantic comedy at Happy Madison and Gulfstream Pictures.

All that’s known about the plot is that it will deal with blended families. The trio previously worked together on “The Wedding Singer”. [Source: Variety]

Hidden in the Woods
Michael Biehn, William Forsythe and Krzysztof Soszynski will headline an indie remake of Chilean horror film “Hidden in the Woods.”

The story begins when an abusive father is jailed. His two daughters, being raised in a remote area of Chile, find they now have to answer to their uncle – a drug kingpin who wants his missing product back. [Source: Variety]
