Judy Greer (“Archer,” “The Descendants”) has scored the role of the female chimp Cornelia in Matt Reeves’ upcoming ‘Rise’ sequel “Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes” at Fox.
The character, briefly introduced in the first film, will have a much expanded role this time out. Greer will work with performance capture alongside Andy Serkis. [Source: Vulture]

“The Office” star B.J. Novak has joined the cast of “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” at Sony Pictures in an unspecified role.
Novak’s casting was revealed via a tweeted photo from director Marc Webb. He added the caption “A supposed rumor about a Dunder-Mifflin takeover of Oscorp.” [Source: Twitter]
Milton’s Secret
Peter Fonda will star in the upcoming film adaptation of Eckhart Tolle and Robert Friedman’s children’s book “Milton’s Secret”.
Fonda will play the grandfather of the story’s central character, Milton, a young boy who is dealing with being bullied in school. [Source: THR]
