Casting News: Tarantino, Thwaites, Swinton

Django Unchained
“CSI: Miami” actor Rex Linn says that filmmaker Quentin Tarantino is not only directing the upcoming “Django Unchained” but will play a small role in the film as well alongside Linn.

Linn says “You’ll know the scenes when you see them. We’ll be on the screen with Don Johnson and Jonah Hill. The scenes may not be long, but you will remember them.” [Source: The Playlist]

Need for Speed
Brenton Thwaites and Luke Bracey, two former stars of Aussie soap “Home and Away”, are being tested for roles in the upcoming video game adaptation “Need for Speed”. [Source: Deadline]

The Zero Theroem
Tilda Swinton is set to do one day of shooting for a cameo role in Terry Gilliam’s upcoming sci-fi feature “The Zero Theroem”.
