Casting: Perlman, Dano, Binoche, McTeer

Angry Little God
Ron Perlman, Tom Bower, Devon Graye and Pruitt Taylor Vince have all joined the cast of Daniel Stamm’s indie thriller “Angry Little God”. Stamm and David Birke penned the script.

A remake of the Thai film “13: Game of Death”, the story follows a meek social services coordinator who’s drowning in debt who learns he’s on a hidden camera game show where he must execute 13 tasks to receive a cash prize of several million dollars. [Source: Variety]

Prisoners
Paul Dano will join Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal in Denis Villeneuve’s “Prisoners” at Alcon Entertainment. Shooting kicks off early next year.

Th story evolves around a small-town carpenter who takes the law into his own hands after his young daughter and best friend are kidnapped. He runs up against the big-city detective in the process. [Source: Variety]

Since Maria
French filmmaker Olivier Assayas has confirmed that he plans to reteam with Juliette Binoche for the drama “Since Maria” which will shoot next spring.

The project will be in English and part of the cast will be American. He and Binoche previously worked together on 2008’s “Summer Hours”. [Source: The Playlist]

Molly Moon
Janet McTeer is in negotiations to play the head of an orphanage in Christopher Rowley’s fantasy drama “Molly Moon” at Amber Entertainment. Shooting kicks off at the end of the month in London.

An adaptation of Georgia Byng’s fantasy novel, the story follows an orphan (Raffey Cassidy) who learns the art of hypnosis. Offers are also out to Joan Collins, Charles Dance and Trudie Styler. [Source: Variety]
