“Smallville” and “Blue Mountain State” actor Alan Ritchson is set to play Gloss, a former Career tribute from District 1, in Lionsgate’s “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”.

Dawn Olivieri (“House of Lies”) is joining Catherine Hardwicke’s erotic thriller “Plush”. Emily Browning plays a rising rock star and married mother of two who finds new hope and friendship in Enzo (Xavier Samuel), the replacement guitarist who inspires her to reach new creative heights.

She slowly discovers she may have let a madman into her home and family. Olivieri plays the band’s manager, the movie’s second female lead. Gigandet plays the husband. [Source: THR]

Noah
Mark Margolis (“Breaking Bad”) will play Samyaza in Darren Aronofsky’s Biblical epic “Noah” at Paramount Pictures. Shooting is underway in Iceland.

Samyaza is a fallen angel who is equated to Satan according to certain teachings. Margolis has appeared in four previous Aronofsky films. [Source: Screen daily]

White House Down
Michael Murphy will play Vice-President Alvin Hammond in Roland Emmerich’s political thriller “White House Down”.

In the movie, Hammond tries to establish order and a chain of command as the attack on the Executive Mansion leads to reports that the President (Jamie Foxx) is unable to lead. [Source: Deadline]
