Casting: Ritchson, Wilson, Franco, O’Dowd

Ninja Turtles
Model and actor Alan Ritchson (“Smallville,” “Fired Up,” “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”) has been cast as Raphael in Jonathan Liebesman’s upcoming live-action/CGI combo reboot “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” at Paramount and Platinum Dunes.

The role is a motion capture performance (ala “Avatar,” “Tintin”). Megan Fox is already onboard as April O’Neil. [Source: Deadline]

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay
Rebel Wilson (“Bridesmaids,” “Pitch Perfect”) let slip that she had a meeting about being in “The Hunger Games.” She goes onto day she will be playing one of the people in the Capitol.

“There aren’t a lot of roles open, because they’ve all already been cast, but that would be awesome. I’d love to be in The Hunger Games.” [Source: Slashfilm]

Townies
Dave Franco and Christopher Mintz-Plasse have joined the cast of the comedy “Townies” alongside Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, and Rose Byrne.

Nicholas Stoller helms the project in which Rogen plays a man who can’t stand living near a college fraternity. [Source: Deadline]

St. Vincent De Van Nuys
Chris O’Dowd is in early talks to join the cast of Ted Melfi’s “St. Vincent De Van Nuys”.
