Neighborhood Watch
Will Forte (“MacGruber,” “30 Rock”) has joined the growing cast of Akiva Schaffer’s “Neighborhood Watch” at 20th Century Fox. Forte will play a character named Sergeant Bressman.
The story centers on a group of suburbanite dads who start a Neighborhood Watch group to hang out, but accidentally come upon a vast conspiracy. Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Rosemarie DeWitt, Jonah Hill, Richard Ayoade and Nicholas Braun also star. [Source: The Hollywood Reporter]
Ghostbusters 3
Speed trumped accuracy once again in the blogosphere after joke comments made by “The Daily Show” correspondent John Hodgman led to speculation that the actor would be starring in a third “Ghostbusters”.
Hodgman has since denied the reports, categorically saying “I am not appearing in Ghostbusters 3” in a tweet. The film itself is said to be targeting a shoot early next year. [Source: AceShowbiz]
The Last Exorcism 2
Actress Ashley Bell has revealed she is going to be shooting a sequel to the found footage surprise hit “The Last Exorcism”.
