“Chopper” Comic & Web Series Becomes Film

The L.A.-based marketing agency Dilemma is seeking co-producers for a feature film adaptation of Martin Shapiro’s horror comic “Chopper”.

Described as a modern-day spin on “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”, the story follows a headless motorcycle rider looking for vengeance in the afterlife.

Earlier this year, Dilemma produced an ambitious nine episode web series that introduced prequel storylines intended to set up the film (see the series here).

Tyler Mane and Andrew Bryniarski starred in the web series and will reprise their roles for the feature. Shapiro wrote the screenplay while J.C. Christofilis is producing. Shooting aims to begin mid-2013.
