Once pegged as a potential Steven Spielberg project, filmmaker Christopher Nolan seems to have found his next directorial effort.
Multiple sources claim Nolan is looking at the sci-fi drama “Interstellar” as his immediate next project to direct and produce. His brother, Jonathan Nolan, has already penned the script.
The story involves time travel and alternate dimensions, and sees a group of explorers travel through a wormhole. The script is based on scientific theories developed by theoretical and gravitational physicist Kip Thorne.
Dealmaking has reportedly been underway for months on the film which will be a Paramount and Warner Bros. Pictures co-production.
