Aussie actor Jason Clarke (“Public Enemies,” “Chicago Code”) is the first actor to have been locked down for Kathryn Bigelow’s drama about the hunt for Osama Bin Laden at Sony Pictures and Annapurna Pictures reports Deadline.
Clarke will play a terrorist hunter in service of the U.S. efforts to hunt the wanted man in this Mark Boal-scripted drama which begins shooting early next year.
The likes of Tom Hardy, Jennifer Ehle, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Rooney Mara and Nina Arianda have also been discussed as potential candidates for roles.
