James McAvoy (“Atonement,” “X-Men: First Class”) is reportedly circling the long-gestating reboot of “The Crow” franchise at Relativity.
Should he accept, McAvoy would star as a musician who is murdered while trying to save his fiancée from thugs. He is brought back from the dead by supernatural forces and seeks revenge.
The report indicates McAvoy’s role in “X-Men: Days of Future Past” might interfere with his ability to take the role.
