Billy Crudup, Anton Yelchin, Selena Gomez and Laurence Fishburne have all signed on to star in William H. Macy’s directorial debut “Rudderless” at Unified Pictures.
The music drama follows a grieving father in a downward spiral who stumbles across a box of his deceased son’s original music.
He forms a band, hoping to find peace in the wake of his loss.
Casey Twenter and Jeff Robison penned the script from an original story they wrote with Macy.
Macy and wife Felicity Huffman (the duo known as Filliam H. Muffman) also star in the film. Keith Kjarval and Brad Greiner will produce.
