“Animal Kingdom” director David Michod has settled on his next project, “The Rover”, at Lava Bear and Porchlight Films says Variety.
The story follows a man on a mission to retrieve his stolen car, which contains something invaluable to him. Michod is writing the script, based on an idea he and actor Joel Edgerton (“Warrior,” “The Thing”) originated.
David Linde and Liz Watts will produce with shooting to kick off later this year in Australia. Michod is also directing a segment of the upcoming anthology feature “Sydney Unplugged”.
