Julie Delpy is attached to direct “The Right Profile”, a biopic of The Clash frontman Joe Strummer reports Variety.
The story will focus on the iconic British punk movement figure and his planned disappearance from the public spotlight in 1982. Strummer died in 2002.
Simon Halfon is producing. Delpy recently wrapped production on “2 Days in New York,” a sequel to her 2007 effort “2 Days in Paris”.
