Denzel Washington is in early talks to join Mark Wahlberg in the action drama “2 Guns” at Universal Pictures says Deadline.
Based on a Steven Grant graphic novel and adapted by Blake Masters, the story follows a DEA agent and an undercover naval intelligence officer who unwittingly investigate each after each steal money from the mob.
Baltasar Kormakur (“Contraband”) directs while Marc Platt, Andrew Cosby and Ross Richie are producing. Emmett/Furla Films is likely to come onboard to co-finance and co-produce.
