Scott Derrickson (“Sinister,” “The Day the Earth Stood Still”) is set to co-write and direct the adaptation of Square Enix’s iconic video game “Deus Ex: Human Revolution” at CBS Films.
Set in the near future where human augmentation has triggered a technological renaissance, the story follows an ex-SWAT security specialist who must embrace mechanical augments in order to unravel a global conspiracy.
Derrickson’s “Sinister” co-scribe Robert Cargill will write the script, while Roy Lee and Adrian Askarieh are attached to produce.
