Directors: Slade, Waller, Farrellys, Pearson

Villain
“The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” and “30 Days of Night” director David Slade will helm the psychological thriller “Villain” at Wayfare Entertainment.

Josh Zetumer (“Robocop”) penned the script which follows two brothers as they confront their dark past in an unforgiving wilderness. Ben Browning, Sarah Shepard and Jeremy Kipp Walker will produce and shooting will take place in Alaska. [Source: Deadline]

Raze
Josh C. Waller is set to helm the horror tale “Raze” at Quincy Pictures and Cosmic Toast Studios. Shooting is slated to begin in June.

The story follows two abducted women (Zoe Bell and Rachel Nichols) and fifty other women who are forced to fight each other using their bare hands, all for the sadistic enjoyment of an elite, voyeuristic society. [Source: Variety]

Dear Satan
Fox has acquired Dan Ewen’s spec script “Dear Satan” which the Farrelly Brothers will direct for Conundrum Entertainment.

The story follows a seven-year-old girl who accidentally misspells “Santa” and instead invites Satan to bring her a toy for Christmas. [Source: Variety]

The Tracks
“Hotel Rwanda” scribe Keir Pearson will make his directorial debut on “The Tracks,” an adaptation of Mara Leveritt’s non-fiction work “The Boys on the Tracks”.

The story follows Linda Ives’ journey to learn the truth about her teen son’s murder which ultimately ties into the Iran-Contra Scandal. [Source: Variety]
