Just as Alan Horn takes control of the Mouse House, Disney has shuffled around its upcoming tentpole film schedule with some big delays in store.
The most notable is that Steven Spielberg’s “Robopocalypse”, which hasn’t begun shooting yet, has been pushed back almost a full year – from July 3rd 2013 to April 25th 2014.
With that gone, Disney has moved its adaptation of “The Lone Ranger” into the now vacated July 3rd 2013 release slot from the May 2013 release date they had previously scheduled.
There’s also been a date adjustment to the “Thor” sequel which will now open November 8th 2013, a week earlier than previously scheduled.
