Acclaimed filmmaker Kimberly Peirce (“Boys Don’t Cry,” “Stop-Loss”) directs this reimagining of Stephen King’s classic horror tale about a shy girl (Moretz) outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore).
She soon unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom. The film is scheduled to hit theatres Spring 2013.
