“We Need to Talk About Kevin” star Ezra Miller will play Mia Wasikowska’s love interest in this new adaptation of Gustave Flaubert’s classic 1856 novel “Madame Bovary” at Occupant Entertainment says Variety.
The story focuses on a doctor’s wife who has adulterous affairs and lives beyond her means in order to escape the banalities and emptiness of provincial life. Paul Giamatti also stars.
Sophie Barthes (“Cold Souls”) helms from a script by Rose Barreneche, while Joe Neurauter and Felipe Marino will produce. Shooting kicks off this Fall in Europe.
