With Ricky Gervais done, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are now stepping in to take over hosting duties on the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards.
The selection is a perfect fit for broadcaster NBC considering both are stars of the network’s Thursday night comedy block. The pair also have proven chemistry thanks to years working together both on film and on SNL.
Their work as awards presenters at both the Globes and Emmys have also drawn acclaim in the past. The news comes not long after it was confirmed that “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane would host the Oscars next year.
