Actor Andy Serkis has made the surprising comment that a teaser trailer for Peter Jackson’s “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” could be hitting sooner than expected.
“There will be a trailer fairly soon, actually. Around Christmas time, I believe” Serkis told IGN this week. Serkis both reprises his role of Gollum and serves as second unit director on the two “Hobbit” movies.
The question now becomes which Christmas release will the trailer be attached to – either “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows”, which shares the same distributor, or “The Adventures of Tintin” which Jackson and his WETA Digital produced.
