Four More Join Tarantino’s “Django”

James Remar (“Dexter”), Tom Wopat (“Dukes of Hazzard”), James Russo (“Public Enemies”) and Todd Allen (“Friday Night Lights”) have all joined the cast of Quentin Tarantino’s western “Django Unchained” reports Variety.

Remar and Russo will play slave trading brothers Ace and Dicky Speck who purchase Django at auction. Wopat plays Marshall Gill Tatum, Allen is plantation overseer Dollar Bill. It has also been revealed today that Jonah Hill was offered a role in the film but had to pass due to his busy schedule.

The quartet join a cast that includes Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington, Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, M.C. Gainey, Dennis Christopher, Gerald McRaney, Laura Cayouette, Don Johnson, Tom Savini, Anthony LaPaglia and possibly Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
