FX has renewed its acclaimed drama “Justified” for a fifth season. The show, which wraps its fourth next week, will return in January.
The news was revealed at the cable channel’s upfront presentation to advertisers in New York City on Thursday morning.
FX also confirmed that it has renewed its comedies “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and “The League” for two more seasons, while new comedy “Legit” will get another one.
All three shows however will be moved to the company’s new spinoff network – FXX. Said network will target both a younger demographic, and have more of a comedy focus.
Finally, FX has also given the green light to a TV series version of the Coen Brothers’ “Fargo” for a ten episode first season.
