EW has posted another new trailer for “Game of Thrones” which apparently marks the first time HBO has licensed an indie pop song to market the big-budget fantasy series.
The song in question, Florence and the Machine’s “Seven Devils”, proves quite fitting for the new trailer which includes some sweet landscape shots of locations like Winterfell (actually shot in Ireland) and areas North of the Wall (Iceland).
The second season premiere airs April 1st in the U.S. on HBO, April 2nd in the UK on Sky Atlantic HD, and April 10th in Australia on Foxtel channel Showcase HD.
Meanwhile the DVD and Blu-ray editions of the first season hits stores worldwide this coming week – Monday in the UK, Tuesday in the US, Wednesday in Australia.
