With “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” having already passed $ 275 million at the global box-office, New Line is moving forward with a third movie in the series reports Heat Vision.
The sequel’s director Brad Peyton and writers Brian Gunn and Mark Gunn have all closed deals to return for another film which is being fast tracked to be in theatres by 2014.
No deals have yet been discussed with any returning cast members. Beau Flynn, Tripp Vinson and Charlotte Huggins will produce.
