Screen Gems has released a gory and rather insane red-band teaser trailer for the long-awaited “Evil Dead” remake.
Directed by Fede Alvarez and produced by Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell, it looks kind of what you expect – the Raimi film re-interpreted for the “Saw” generation.
It is grimmer, dirtier, gorier (in a more graphic and believable way) and isn’t even trying to wink at the audience. It’s all here though, from the possessed hand to the tree rape.
