Warner Bros. Pictures are playing around with their release schedule as two of their major upcoming features have seen surprising shifts according to Box-Office Mojo.
The most notable is Alfonso Cuaron’s ambitious and highly anticipated sci-fi tale “Gravity” which has now been pushed back from November 21st to an unspecified 2013 release date. With the an already over crowded late Fall/Holiday season and extensive visual effects to complete – this isn’t a huge shock.
Warners has also moved up the period gangland drama “Gangster Squad” by a month to September 7th, making it the only wide release that weekend.
