Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson are attached to star in Anonymous Content’s anthology series “True Detective” which is currently being shopped to cable networks says The Live Feed.
The story follows two detectives – Rust Cohle (McConaughey) and Martin Hart (Harrelson) – whose lives become entangled while searching for a serial killer in Louisiana.
That story would run across an eight episode first season. Each subsequent season sees a complete refresh of the cast, setting and storyline.
Cary Fukunaga, who helmed “Sin Nombre” and the recent “Jane Eyre” adaptation, is attached to direct all eight installments which have been penned by Nic Pizzolatto.
