Hettienne Park Joins NBC’s “Hannibal”

Hettienne Park (“Young Adult,” “The Good Wife”) has joined “Hannibal”, NBC’s upcoming adaptation of the Thomas Harris-penned Hannibal Lecter books. The series essentially serves as a prequel to the events in “Red Dragon” with Mads Mikkelsen in the role of Lecter says The Live Feed.

Park will recur as Beverly Katz, a bright-eyed yet weary crime scene investigator and fiber expert who helps criminal profiler Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) on cases. While initially clashing over Graham’s unusual role in the FBI, their friction sparks a relationship that could potentially become a romantic one.

She’s expected to share her scenes with a trio of other key supporting roles. These include Laurence Fishburne as FBI behavioral science unit head Jack Crawford, Caroline Dhavernas as a UC psychology professor who also serves as an FBI consultant profiler, and Aaron Abrams as a medical school grad and tech geek.
