Horn, Levy Join Soderbergh‘s “Magic Mike”

Cody Horn and William Levy have joined the cast of Steven Soderbergh’s indie male stripper feature “Magic MIke” which begins shooting next month according to The Playlist.

Reid Carolin’s script is loosely based on actor Channing Tatum’s days as a teenage male stripper and when was mentored by a man named Magic Mike. In the film, Tatum will play Mike while Alex Pettyfer will play the young stripper whom he takes under his wing at the exotic club Xquisite.

Horn, daughter of former Warner Bros. prez Alan Horn, will play the sister of Pettyfer’s character who ends up in a romance with Tatum’s character. Another key female role though has yet to be cast. 30-year-old Cuban actor Levy has a physique that almost certainly means he’ll be playing one of the strippers.

Jessica Biel was also rumoured to score a role in the film late last week, but her reps have confirmed she’s not involved.
