“J. Edgar,” “Margaret” Score New Dates

Warner Bros. Pictures has shaken up its upcoming schedule with four titles scoring new release dates.

First up they’ve announced dates for their two potential awards candidates – “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close” and Clint Eastwood’s “J. Edgar”. ‘Edgar’ is now set to bow on November 9th, while ‘Loud’ will make its debut on Christmas Day.

They’ve also delayed the release date of “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” by two weeks to February 10th 2012, and set a November 21st 2012 release date for Alfonso Cuaron’s outer space saga “Gravity”.

Meanwhile Fox Searchlight has set a September 30th limited release for Kenneth Lonergan’s “Margaret”, the Matt Damon and Anna Paquin drama shot back in 2005 that’s been sitting on a shelf for years.
