John Lithgow has joined Jay Roach’s political comedy “Dog Fight” for Warner Bros. Pictures says Variety.
The story centers on two political rivals (Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis) both vying for the same Congressional seat in a small North Carolina district. Details on Lithgow’s role weren’t forthcoming.
Jason Sudeikis, Sarah Baker, Brian Cox, and Dylan McDermott also star. Shawn Harwell and Chris Henchy penned the script.
