Universal Pictures has confirmed a 3D re-release is in the works for Steven Spielberg’s original “Jurassic Park” with a July 19th 2013 release date set – a little over twenty years after the original opened in June 1993.

The studio has also moved up the release of the Joseph Kosinski-directed Tom Cruise-led scorched earth sci-fi tale “Oblivion” by three months – from July 10th 2013 to April 26th 2013. Filming just got underway in Baton Rouge.

Meanwhile “Seven Psychopaths”, the much anticipated re-teaming of “In Bruges” write/director Martin McDonagh and star Colin Farrell, has been given a November 2nd release this year.

Also this year comes the Bradley Cooper-led plagiarism thriller “The Words” which has been set for a September 21st release this year. Thanks to Box-Office Mojo for the updates.
