Paramount Pictures has begun talks with both Imagine Entertainment and singer Katy Perry to create a documentary-style 3D film about singer-songwriter Perry which will include performance footage says The Hollywood Reporter.
Paramount reportedly wants to use the model it employed on “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never” which took $ 73 million domestically from a quite small budget.
No director is officially on board yet. Both sides however are eager to make it work, and Perry will likely attract a similar young girl demographic that flocked to the Bieber doco.
