Lionsgate and WWE Studios are teaming for a reboot of Trimark’s 1993 indie horror feature “Leprechaun” reports Variety
A then unknown Jennifer Aniston starred in the original about an evil, sadistic Leprechaun who goes on a killing rampage in search of his beloved pot of gold. The film spawned a further five sequels, most direct-to-video.
No writer, director or cast is yet attached to the reboot which is aiming for a 2013 release. The film is the first in a two-picture deal between the companies, the other picture has yet to be determined.
