“Private Practice” and “Veronica Mars” actor Chris Lowell will make his feature directorial debut on the indie drama “Beside Still Waters” says The Chicago Tribune.
Ryan Eggold (“90210”) plays a young man on the verge of losing his childhood home following the death of his parents. He struggles to maintain the friendships of his youth as he invites his high school pals over for one last celebration and attempts to win back his ex-girlfriend.
Beck Bennett, Will Brill, Brett Dalton, Erin Darke, Jessy Hodges, Britt Lower and Reid Scott also star while Lowell and Mohit Narang co-wrote the script. Shooting kicks off next week in Michigan.
