Welsh spunk Luke Evans is set to play Bruce Reynolds, the masterminded behind the Great Train Robbery, in a two-part TV mini-series to air later this year.
Reynolds hatched the plan for the 1963 mail train heist, at the time Britain’s biggest ever robbery with a haul worth £41 million in today’s money.
One part follows the thieves, the other the police and their efforts to catch the robbers. The producers behind the acclaimed BBC2 drama “United” will also produce this.
