Manganiello, Bomer Talk “Magic Mike”

While Alex Pettyfer and Channing Tatum have the lead roles in Steven Soderbergh’s male stripper flick “Magic Mike”, the two co-stars most want to see in skimpy jockstraps are two of cable TV’s hottest spunks – “White Collar” lead Matt Bomer and “True Blood” werewolf hunk Joe Manganiello.

With filming about to wrap on the project, both of them have spoken about what they’ve gotten up to on set and revealed a little bit more information about this still relatively hush-hush project.

Manganiello made the most revealing comment to Celeb Buzz in that the tone of the film is very much a comedy – “It’s like Animal House and Hangover funny”.

Asked the big question, will we see any full frontal? He says “You are going to see…I mean…. No, no full frontal! But his name is Big Dick Richie for a reason”.

His character is based on a man that Tatum knew named Big Dick Charlie, a guy whose costume was fireman themed. Thus Manganiello is dressed in “suspenders, hat, I get the axe going — the whole deal”.

As for the other cast members? “Big sexy Kevin Nash has his Tarzan thing, I’ve got my fireman thing, Matt Bomer’s got a doctor thing going on, Adam Rodriguez does a Latino lover bit.”

Bomer tells MTV News that one of his first lessons was how to wear a thong properly – “I had never worn a thong before, so the first time I tried it, I put it on wrong and my junk didn’t fit in it,” he said. “I had to call a wardrobe person in and go, ‘Something’s wrong with my thong, you guys. I think we’re gonna have to figure this out,’ and they’re like, ‘Uh, yeah your legs are in the wrong holes.’ So, that was step one.”

He adds that he learned a technique to tearaway clothes, and that Soderbergh “made him feel like he was shooting a documentary.”
