Marion Cotillard (“The Dark Knight Rises,” “Inception”) is teaming up with Belgian filmmaking brothers and two-time Palme d’Or winners Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne for the social drama “Deux Jours, Une Nuit” at Les Films du Fleuve and Archipel 35.
Cotillard will play Sandra, a young woman who has only one weekend to convince her colleagues they must renoounce their annual bonuses so that she can keep her job.
Fabrizio Rongione is also part of the cast as Cotillard’s husband. The film is an original script by the Dardenne brothers. Shooting will take place this summer in Belgium.
