Mads Mikkelsen has emerged as the favourite for a starring role in “Snowtown” director Justin Kurzel’s upcoming adaptation of John le Carré’s espionage thriller “Our Kind of Traitor”.
Hossein Amini (“Drive,” “Snow White and the Huntsman”) penned the script which follows a young couple who are persuaded into helping a charismatic Russian millionaire to defect to British Intelligence. The story takes place across London, Paris, Moscow and Tangiers.
Ralph Fiennes and Jessica Chastain have also been rumored for the project. Stephen Cornwell, Simon Cornwell, Rhodri Thomas, Gail Egan and Andrea Calderwood will produce.
