Empire has just launched a Steven Spielberg special app only for the iPad with exclusive video interviews and photos, in-depth reviews, trailers, clips and tonnes of other goodies covering everything from 1971’s Duel to the upcoming “War Horse”. You can pick it up at the iTunes store.

Jesus Orellana’s independent scifi-cyberpunk-horror animated short film “Rosa”, which screened at festivals worldwide earlier this year, is now online in full at Vimeo.

Several young German students have made a five-part zombie webseries and the first trailer is up at Youtube.

The other week the Old Murder House Theatre in Austin, Texas did a two-night show which was essentially a live stage version of James Cameron’s “Aliens”. A clip from said show can be found here, looks like it was a lot of fun. The group has reportedly done this for numerous other 80’s films in the past including “Die Hard”, “Jurassic Park” and “Robocop”:

Finally today a trailer is out for Luke Massey’s new UK psychological and supernatural thriller film “Warhouse” starring Joseph Morgan (“Vampire Diaries,” “Immortals”) and Matt Ryan (“Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior,” “Flypaper”). Morgan plays a Royal Marine who finds himself imprisoned and forced to fight for his life against grotesque, inhuman opponents. His only hope comes in the form of a diary left by a former occupant of the house (Ryan).
