Blossom Films and Olympus Films have optioned the screen rights to the Kevin Wilson novel “The Family Fang” says Deadline.
The story follows a couple of performance artists who routinely sucked their kids into taking part in a variety of bizarre events.
When the resentful full grown children return home in a state of crisis, they are unwittingly enlisted to help in the execution of a daring and mysterious final performance who are hellbent on achieving the act of a lifetime.
The film is being developed as a starring vehicle for Kidman. She, Per Saari, Leslie Urdang and Dean Vanech will produce.
